The 1756-DMD30 Allen-Bradley ControlLogix driver module is a single-slot industrial ControlLogix module that enables device connectivity with Reliance Electric Distributed Power System (DPS) devices. Each 1756-DMD30 module is connected to a separate power module interface (PMI) chassis and performs external torque, position, and speed control. The 1756-DMD30 module can be used with the SD3000 6 pulse DPS device system (S6 DC driver and S6R rotary transformer) and the SD3000 12 pulse device system (S12 DC driver and S12R rotary transformer).

The 1756-DMD30 module is installed in the ControlLogix chassis and communicates with the SynchLink node over a fiber optic network.
