The Allen-Bradley 1756-A17K is an open chassis. This case should be installed in an appropriate housing designed for specific environmental conditions. The 1756-A17K is designed for horizontal rear panel components. If the chassis mounting latch is not laid flat before securing the screws, use additional washers as spacers to prevent the chassis from being folded by screws. A warped case can damage the backplane and cause intermittent operation. Allen-Bradley 1756-A17K includes a ground bus.
