1336-L5 is a control interface board, belonging to the 1336 series of adjustable AC frequency converter. It is a 24 VDC/VAC logic board without encoder. It is designed for use with 1336 Plus, 1336 force, and 1336 impact drives, especially Rack A-H, with the exception of rack C drives rated at 25 HP and 30 HP. The board allows various external signals to be connected via contact closure.
The 1336-L5 is a control interface option card that is part of Allen-Bradley's 1336 Plus adjustable frequency AC inverter. It is particularly compatible with 1336 Plus, 1336 Force, and 1336 impact drives, especially rack A-H drives, with the exception of rack C drives rated at 25 HP and 30 HP. The control interface board is installed at the bottom of the main control board, on top of the TB2 terminal strip. The 1336-L5 is a 24 VDC / 24 VAC logic board designed to receive additional external contact closure signals. In order to function properly, the 1336-L5 logic control interface board requires a circuit that can operate under high = true logic and requires a voltage supplied by a 24 volt AC/DC user to function. The board also works properly, and the circuit is capable of producing no more than 8 volts DC /10 volts AC, 1.5/2.5 mA current in the low state with a voltage range of +20 to +26 volts AC, and 10 mA source current per input in the high state. The 1336-L5 can be used to program a variety of drive commands and functions, including 2 drive acceleration/deceleration control inputs that allow the user to select the acceleration and deceleration times used by the drive. The 1336-L5 can also be used for local control, giving the user exclusive control of the drive logic, and also helps to control the front/reverse function, which controls both reverse and forward operations. The board can also be used to control various other drive functions such as enable, flux enable, point, digital potentiometer, ramp, reset, and start functions. The 1336-L5 is installed on the main control board on pins 3 and 17 of the J2 jumper and on the main control board on 18 and 1 and is compatible with the 1771-OB, -OQ, -OBB, -OBD, -OBN and -OQ16 PLC modules.
