The Allen-Bradley module 1794-AENTR is a component module in the Flex I/O product family. This module is a redundant Ethernet communication adapter that is commonly used to implement high availability Ethernet networks because it supports the implementation of device level loop (DLR) topology.

Ethernet connections are achieved through dual RJ45 ports that support Ethernet I/P protocols. These ports support linear simple communication networks and high-availability networks with ring topologies.
