Allen-Bradley 1794-ACNR15 is a redundant control network communication module. This module is a component product of the Flex I/O product family for implementing distributed I/O in a variety of applications and industries.
1794-ACNR15 supports the ControlNet protocol. It can implement redundant control network topology by connecting to the control network relay connection. The 1794-ACNR15 has two control network communication ports, each connected to a separate trunk. When one control network relay fails, data is automatically routed to the second control network relay.
The 1794-ACNR15 supports a 5Mbps control network transfer speed and can install any combination of eight Flex I/O modules.
The module requires an external power supply to work. The acceptable supply voltage range is 19.2... 31.2V DC, current is 400ma. The nominal supply voltage is 24VDC. Power connection using 0.33... Two and a half square. Mm (22... 12AWG) solid or stranded copper wire with an insulation class of 75°C(167°F) or higher and a maximum insulation thickness of 1.2 mm(3/64 inch). For two-wire connections, use 0.33... 1.3 square. Mm (22... 16AWG) unmixed solid or stranded copper wire with an insulation class of 75°C(167°F) or higher and an insulation thickness of 1.2 mm(3/64 inch).
