The 1785-TR10BT transceiver is a twisted-pair transceiver designed by Allen-Bradley as an exclusive accessory to its 1785 series of programmable controllers. This transceiver enables the connection between the device and the AUI interface to connect to the CSMA/CD LAN at a rate of 10 mbit/s via shielded and twisted cables. Other outstanding features of this particular transceiver include its monitoring power supply, TxData, collision/interference control, link state edge, and automatic polarity switching capabilities. The Allen-Bradley 1785-TR10BT twisted-pair transceiver comes with an SQE test that can be disabled externally without having to disconnect the entire section. It has a low current consumption rating and compact construction, so it can be easily installed.

The Allen-Bradley 1785-TR10BT twisted-pair transceiver provides LED indications for data transmission and reception as well as data collision detection in the same network.
