This digital DC output module, 1771-OBN, provided by Alan Bradley, as an open device, is not suitable for industrial environments with pollution greater than 2, when applied to zone 2 environments; It can only be accessed by using the appliance, as it contains components that are easily damaged by electrostatic discharge. The contact electrostatic discharge is 4kv and the air electrostatic discharge is 8kv.
The isolation voltage of the device is about 1500 volts AC RMS; It has four sets of eight outputs for a total of 32 outputs in the output voltage range of 10 to 30 volts; Its output current rating is 0.5 A per output, its maximum backplane current is 330 mA, its DC voltage is 5 volts, its isolation voltage has been tested for 60 seconds and can withstand up to 500 volts.
