The Allen-Bradley 1771-IAN is a PLC 5 digital AC/DC input module. It converts the AC signal provided by the user device into the logic level required by the processor. Directly control the status of the corresponding bits in the PLC data table. It contains various input devices such as buttons, limit switches, indicators, motor starters and alarms for interface with on/off sensors and actuators. It has a modular design with a space-saving and pocket-friendly way to add inputs to the PLC control system. It is equipped with a 1771-WN wiring arm to replace the module, eliminating the need to disconnect the wiring. It is a Series A module that supports ½ and 1 slot I/O addressing.

The 1771-IAN module has 32 inputs (4 sets of 8) in the 120V AC/DC voltage category. It operates in the voltage range of 85-138 V AC, with a typical signal delay of 10ms(±7) in the AC on state and 20ms(±15) in the AC off state.
