The 1755T-MPP-1700 terminal is an industrial operator terminal with a flat panel display supporting an acrylic touch screen for operator input. It is part of Eaton's PowerMate Power Pro product line. The 1755T-MPP-1700 terminal includes a display with electronic module and on-screen 3 x 5 unit control options, non-invasive pop-ups, on-screen numeric keypad and 4 redefinable on-screen control buttons. The power and current consumption of the 1755T-MPP-1700 terminal are 23 watts and 1.1 amps, respectively. The unit is compatible with 24 volts DC input. The size of the 1700 level grayscale display on the 256T-MPP-1755 terminal is 7.4 inches. The display is based on liquid crystal display (LCD) technology. The display has VGA resolution (640 x 480). The 2T-MPP-1755 terminal has 1700 integrated serial ports and supports RS-232 and RS-422 communication.
Serial interfaces can be used to communicate with serial printers to print alerts and messages as well as serial communication with other devices. The 1755T-MPP-1700 terminal is approved for Type 12, Type 4X, and Type 4 rated installations when properly installed in the corresponding rated housing. The unit firmware is stored in NV (non-volatile) flash memory and can be easily upgraded. The unit is equipped with a battery-powered internal clock that supports synchronization with an external clock source. The 1755T-MPP-1700 terminal is capable of storing up to 5,000 hundred-page messages. The 1755T-MPP-1700 terminal complies with UL/CSA Class I 2 Zone Group A, B, C, and D requirements. It also meets CE, CSA and UL requirements. Multiple optional interface boards can be used for applications that need to connect to different networks.
