The Allen-Bradley 1336S-BRF15-AA-EN is an Adjustable Frequency AC Drive. It is one of the products from the 1336S PLUS series built to bring optimal speed control and soft starting to three-phase induction motors. It uses patented sensorless vector algorithm to achieve this kind of control. One of its great features is the ability to be supplied both with AC and DC voltage (380 to 480 Volts AC or 513 to 620 Volts DC voltage). It can control only smaller-sized motors that do not produce more than 1.5 Horsepower (1.2kW). The 1336S-BRF15-AA-EN outputs 2.8 Amps current. It comes in an IP20 (NEMA 1) enclosure so you must keep in mind to protect this device inside of an electrical cabinet with higher IP rating.
The Allen-Bradley 1336S-BRF15-AA-EN provides an HMI with a display for easy programming and troubleshooting of the device. This feature supports premium status and fault reporting.
