Allen-Bradley's 1771-OJ PLC 5 Pulse Output expander module is a component of the stepper motor positioning assembly that provides programmable control of the programmable controller stepper motor and provides modular expansion of the axis from 1 to 3 axes for each I/O chassis. The expander module consumes 800mA current at 5V DC backplane current and uses an auxiliary power supply with a power rating of +5-30V DC, a maximum of 340mA (Max), and a peak-to-peak ripple less than the specified value of the stepper converter. The 1771-OJ supports two input modes (JUG and STOP), in JUG mode the input signal delay time from 1 axis to 3 axis is 35-120ms, and in STOP mode the signal delay time is 250ms.
The 1771-OJ has a voltage range of 1.0V (high level) and 0.8V DC (low level) and a built-in 1.6 kilo-ω pull resistor compatible with open-collector logic devices.
