Product description

The IC697RCM711 is a redundant communication module designed for the GE Fanuc 90-70 series. The IC697RCM711 is a single-slot module with five leds that emit the status of the board and system. This module is designed to provide a path for synchronous messages from the active unit to the backup unit. The IC697RCM711 module is also a route for I/O data transmission shared between the two units. There are two connectors, one at the top of the module and the other at the bottom. The top connector is used to connect the upstream BTM or BRM, and the bottom connector is not used. The IC697RCM711 module requires 0.7 amps of current and is configured using MS-DOS software. The module has a high-speed parallel bus interface and supports the configuration of constructed hot standby and hot standby CPU redundancy systems.

IC697RCM711 Uses a single slot between slots 2 and 9. The above leds are labeled Board OK, Local Ready, Local Active, Remote Ready, and Remote Active.
