The 1783-BMS10CGP switch is a 10-port managed Ethernet switch. It is part of Allen-Bradley's Stratix 5700 series. The two combined switch ports support Gigabit Ethernet, and support copper and fiber connections. The combined port can only be used with one type of connection and does not support the use of both copper and fiber. Eight RJ45 copper switch ports support fast Ethernet.

The 1783-BMS10CGP switch has a maximum power consumption of 20 watts. The switch is rated for power consumption of 40 degrees Celsius and 15 watts for 24 volts of direct current. The 1783-BMS10CGP switch operates over the entire input voltage range from 12 to 48 V DC. The 1783-BMS10CGP switch has an open housing and weighs 1.38 kg.
