The 2711P-RDB7C is a PanelView Plus component. This unit is a display that can be used as a replacement unit for any functioning PanelView Plus 700 and PanelView Plus 700 operating terminal. The display module houses the input interface and the 7-inch display.

The 2711P-RDB7C display module provides a visual area of the machine or process being monitored. The display module has a visual size of 6.5 inches, diagonally, and a display area of 132 x 99 mm or 5.2 x 3.9 inches, while also having a pixel resolution of 640 x 480 and support for 18-bit color graphics. The display module also provides an operator input interface via an embedded analog resistive touch sensing screen with an estimated service life of 1 million presses. Similarly, it contains a stainless steel dome thin-film keyboard assembly consisting of function keys, navigation keys, numbers and confirmation buttons. The same keyboard assembly is also designed to operate the press up to 1 million times.

The 2711P-RDB7C display module has the typical certification for any display module for PanelView Plus 700 and PanelView Plus 6 700 operating terminals. It can be installed in Class I, Zone 2, A, B, C, D/Class I, Zone 2, Group IIC/Class II, Zone 2, Group F, Group G/Class III and (general) non-hazardous label installation locations. It has the temperature code T4 and can operate at a maximum ambient temperature of 55 °C (131 °F).
