The GE Fanuc IC693PWR322 is a 24/48 VDC standard power supply. The standard unit does not include a battery and is designed for a nominal input of 12V DC or 48V DC with an output of 30 watts. The unit can be installed in a standard power socket via any IC693 PLC substrate. While it is capable of maintaining all outputs at input voltages as low as 18VDC (within the specification range), it will not start at initial input voltages below 21VDC. The power supply provides three independent outputs. These are the +5v DC, +24v DC relay outputs for powering the circuit on any IC693 relay output module, and the +24v DC isolation power supply for the input module.
When using this power supply, the user can calculate the power requirements of the specific application. To do this, you first need to determine the total output load by checking the specifications listed in the IC693 PLC installation and hardware manual. This displays the specifications for each module. The total output load should be multiplied by 1.5 to determine the input power value.
