The 1769-L33ERMS is a 5570 Compact GuardLogix controller manufactured by Allen-Bradley. With 2MB of standard user memory and 1MB of safe memory, the controller is capable of performing both standard and safe functions. In addition, the controller supports processing up to 32 continuous and periodic tasks with 100 programs per task.

The 1769-L33ERMS provides dual Ethernet communication interfaces for connecting to Ethernet I/P networks. These twin ports carry the same network traffic, act as embedded switches, and use common I/P addresses. These ports support 10/100 Mbps transfer rates and are capable of communicating up to 256 controller connections, 120 TCP connections, 256 CIP connections, and up to 32 slots. These ports can be used to exchange data with visualization systems such as supervisory control and Data acquisition (SCADA) and human machine interface (HMI) devices.

The 1769-L33ERMS supports installation of up to 16 local I/O modules and expansion with up to 3 I/O banks. In addition to integrated safety features, the controller also supports Ethernet I/P motion, where up to eight axes of motion can be controlled.
