The AC 800PEC combines the high-speed control requirements of processes for power electronics applications with the low-speed process control tasks typically performed by a separate PLC unit. The AC800PEC controller is configured and programmed using ABB's Control Builder M programming tool, which complies with IEC 61131-3, as well as MATLAB, Simulink and Simulink encoders.
AC 800PEC interfaces with ABB's I/O system via the fiber-optic S800 ModuleBus and ABB's communication module via the Communication Expansion Bus (CEX). It also supports third-party Anybus-S fieldbus modules. The control system can be programmed using Simulink and Simulink encoders. To access the controller hardware, use the AC800PEC toolkit. User-friendly supervision is possible using Simulink external mode.
The excitation regulator of self-shunt static rectifier excitation system develops from semiconductor discrete component to integrated solid component and from analog type to digital type. The domestic devices can be divided into three categories: semiconductor analog excitation regulator, microcomputer (including programmable controller) digital excitation regulator and hybrid microcomputer (including programmable controller) analog excitation regulator. Domestic semiconductor excitation regulators have been exported in the early 1970s.
