The module has 16 digital outputs. The output voltage ranges from 10 to 30 volts, with A maximum continuous output current of 0.5 A. The output is protected against short circuit, overvoltage and overtemperature. The outputs are divided into two independently isolated groups, each with eight output channels and a voltage monitoring input. Each output channel consists of short circuit and overheat protection high side drivers, EMC protection elements, inductive load suppression, output status indicator leds and optical isolation barriers.

If the voltage disappears, the process voltage monitoring input emits a channel error signal. The error signal can be read through the module bus. The output has current limitation and overheat protection. If the output is overloaded, the output current will be limited.
