The ProAct and ProAct Plus actuators and drives model 8235-369 are manufactured by Woodward. This model is a P Series II controller with no integrated speed control or integrated throttle body. While this P Series II model may not have an integrated throttle body or integrated speed control, it is still designed as a direct replacement for a traditional throttle, and as such, this model does not require a direct connection between the actuator and the valve.

Please note that noise levels should be considered during operation of the model 8235-369, and some type of ear protection should be worn when working on or around the ProAct model. Another important consideration to consider is that to prevent any damage to the control system using the battery charging device or alternator, the charging device should be turned off before the battery is disconnected.

During operation, if there is an error in the stability of the 8235-366 model, two problems may need to be solved, the engine may oscillate when cold and stabilize when hot, which indicates that the dynamic gain potentiometer may need to be adjusted slightly counterclockwise. If you need to maintain stability, adjust the stabilizing potentiometer slightly clockwise.
