The Woodward ProAct and ProAct Plus Integrated Speed Control (PISC) Integrated Throttle body Model 8235-339 is an electric butterfly valve that controls a variety of flow outputs. This model is designed for Type II PISC actuators, which are specifically designed to be mounted on valve flanges. When powering the PISC, it has A voltage range of 18 to 32 VDC and a current capacity of 15 A for Model II. When the model fuses, please note that it should have A 15 A fast fuses.

Different PISC models have a variety of different torques. Since model 8235-339 must be used with Type II actuators, the following torques and currents are required for proper operation of this mode; The PISC II model has a steady state (or continuous) torque of 2.6 N.m or 23 lb-in and a transient torque of 46 lb-in. The steady state current of this model is 6A.

If this happens, the 8235-339 unit can have an oscillation problem, when the engine oscillates when it is cold and then stabilizes when it is warm, and it is an integral part of ensuring that the correct idle dynamics are set.
