Model 8440-1877 MSLC-2 is manufactured by Woodward and is labeled 5A Current Transformer (CT) input model. This particular model can be purchased, sold, repaired and refurbished from AX Control Inc., Raleigh, North Carolina. The 8440-1877 assembly is designed to be integrated into Woodward's Master Synchronizer and Load Control (MSLC) range, or you can purchase it from our new or used stock.

The 8440-1877 unit includes a function that functions as an automatic unloading and loading system to facilitate bump-free load transfer. MSLC-2 series controllers are also equipped with four load control modes, these modes are; Process, utility offloading, base load, and import/export load. The purpose of the utility offload mode on the controller is generally to provide an adjustable time control ramp for lowering the import/export mode used in the controller.

When installing the controller, please consider the volume of the equipment near the Volume tage, if the nearby equipment voltage is high tage may damage your controller, resulting in potential failure. Make sure that when using the MSLC-2 model, you do not use two sets of voltage from the measured input, otherwise the controller will not be able to measure the required voltage correctly.
