Models 9907-004 are manufactured by Woodward and belong to their family of master synchronizers and load controls. The MSLC unit is designed to operate in a three-phase power generation site equipped with a digital synchronizer and load control module. The MSLC series is designed as a multifunctional device. As a result, they can perform a variety of tasks, including execution synchronizers, common load sensors, import/export load level control modules, power factor control modules, and main process control modules.

The 9907-004 unit is equipped with a voltage sensing input averaging 120 or 240 volts AC. The 9907-004 also comes with an additional handheld programming terminal that handles complete setup metering as well as operational diagnostics.

The 907-004 unit is equipped with phase matching and automatic synchronization of the slip frequency of the local factory bus for grid matching. It should be noted that if unit 907-004 is used with a reduced DSLC unit, VAR/PF will not be shared via the isolation bus. Not only is it able to control kilowatt loads on its mains network, but it is also able to match plant voltages before they are connected in parallel.
