The 723 speed controller is the Woodward governor series. The 723 controller is available in a variety of variants to suit a variety of applications. The 9907-031 digital speed controller is one of the low voltage models (18 to 40 Vdc). The controller is also available in high voltage (90 to 150 Vdc) versions, as well as high and low voltage versions with torsion filters (see models 9907-032, 9907-033 and 9907-034 on our website).

The 9907-031 is intended for use with reciprocating engines in generator set service. The digital speed control's two-speed signal input supports proximity switches or MPUs. It is also a DSLC digital synchronizer and load control compatible unit that provides additional load control capabilities.

The 723 model 9907-031 features multiple analog and discrete I/ OS. In addition to the two-speed signal inputs, the controller has eight discrete inputs, four analog inputs, one load sharing input, and four analog outputs. Two of these analog outputs are 0-1/4-20 mA, and the other two are 0-20/0-200 mA.

The 9907-031 features an RS-422 serial port and can be easily programmed and adjusted with a Woodward handheld programmer (sold separately) or any standard ASCII character computer terminal.
