The 8440-2231 controller is from Woodward's easYgen-100 series. The 8440-2231 comes in three versions of the controller, versions easYgen-800, easYgen-600, and easYgen-400, with the easYgen-400 version having a large LCD (liquid crystal display) and electronic engine support.

One of the broad features of the 8440-2231 controller is a variety of operating modes, including manual, automatic and stop modes, which are available through the controller's front panel as well as discrete inputs or interfaces.

Regarding the power supply of the controller, the controller has many different modes and voltages. It should be noted that the power consumption of the controller is less than 4 W, and when the controller is in standby mode, the power reading should be less than or equal to 2 W. When the controller is operating at 24 V, the maximum operating current should be 220 mA.
