Model 8290-047 is a Woodward speed control unit designed only for gas - or gasoline-powered engines. It belongs to the electric governor family and can be used as part of a complete EPG system. Speed control must be added to the actuator and magnetic pickup to create a complete system. The device is a single-phase voltage drop control product powered by a 12-volt battery. Product 8290-047 must operate within the desired speed range of 3000 to 6000 Hz.
