Product description

Model 8256-085 is a Woodward actuator that is part of the electric governor family. This sealed position actuator can be used with speed control and magnetic pickups to create a complete EPG system. Like other products in the Woodward range, the 8256-085 is efficient and reliable. The actuator is powered by a 12-volt battery and consumes no more than 60 watts of power. It is designed for prime movers, such as gasoline and diesel engines. The ability to withstand high temperatures allows the product to be installed near the prime mover to be used. However, it cannot be mounted directly on the engine. The switchgear is one of the best places to install. It uses single-phase voltage drop and synchronous control. The actuator complies with EU directive and EMC Directive standards.
