The Woodward Board 5501-410 is a microgrid power supply unit that operates at 24 VDC. Do not install or remove the board in the circuit. The 5501-410 board can be used with redundant or simplex power supplies.
The power board 5501-410, part of the MicroNet digital control family, is manufactured by Woodward and operates at an input voltage of 24 VDC. The board can be used in MicroNet Plus or MicroNet Simplex cases as well as redundant or simplex systems. The module has the specifications required when operating this board, some of which are as follows:
Maximum input current: 33 A
Maximum output current (5 VDC) : 32 A@ 55 °C, 28 A@ 60 °C and 22.0 A@ 65 °C
Operating range: 18-36 VDC
Maximum input power: 600 W
All of these specifications are essential to ensure trouble-free operation of the board. If a failure does occur, make sure that all of these specifications are not exceeded.
After inserting the 5501-410 board into the selected case, it will only take up three slots in the case. As one of the main power boards, there are four leds on the front panel to indicate the health of the power supply. Indicators are normal indicator, power fault indicator, overheat indicator, and input fault indicator. The OK LED is the only green LED on the panel, indicating that there is no fault and the device is operating normally.
The 26166 manual is available in two versions and can be used with the 5501-410 board. The 26166V1 manual provides a detailed description of the power board and its specifications, while the 26166V2 manual provides a basic expanded description of the power board.
