The MicroNet Pentium with dual Ethernet option module 5466-416 can only be used in simplex system configurations with host rack and extension rack configurations. The operating limit of the unit is up to <> degrees Fahrenheit.
Microgrid digital controller module 5466-416 is a Pentium CPU. This particular Pentium CPU comes with a dual Ethernet option to run Graphics application programming (GAP) within the selected MicroNet chassis. Note that once the module is installed, it will be installed in the expansion rack of the simplex system. The module also has an SSD drive located on the module, which uses the standard Windows file system. Hard drives with the Windows NT operating system also have applications and real-time extensions.
An important point to note when installing the 5466-416 module is that under no circumstances should any non-isolated device be unplugged or inserted directly into the CPU while executing the application. This CPU does have the ability to plug in in real time, but the monitor, mouse, or keyboard should not be unplugged or the CPU inserted while the GAP application is running.
The 5466-416 module must be configured so that a second automatic switching 10-100 Base-TX RJ45 connector can be provided. Sometimes, when used with certain cpus within a microgrid system, an RS-232 Db9mf filter is required, and Pentium processors do not require this filter.
