5466-411, Microgrid Ethernet RJ45, has four standards, ABS, CSA, CE (EMC) and LRS. This is an Ethernet cable, not a physical model. The 5466-411 is used to provide communication between the main box CPU module and the extension box remote RTN module.
As part of the Microgrid digital control family, Model 5466-411 is a 10BaseT RJ45 Ethernet connector. The model was designed by Woodward. This connector is used for many different functions, some of which are as follows:
Networking of multiple controls
Data collection
Control configuration
These uses are important for the proper operation of connected microgrid devices. In addition to the previously mentioned functions, the module will also be completely dependent on the interface of the IP/TCP distributed input/output device within the control system.
When using this connector, the 5466-411 model must also be used with the Ethernet Field Terminal Module (FTM) to ensure robust operation and signal integrity of the Ethernet device. Ethernet FTM not only needs to be used with double-shielded Ethernet candles, but also needs SSTP to ensure the normal operation of the device.
The 5466-411 module is also used to help provide communication between the main box CPU module and the extension box remote real-time networking module. This connector allows input/output data from the extension case to help run GAP applications in the main case CPU.
