The MicroNet Simplex 48/24 High-density Discrete Input/Output (HDDIO) Smart-Plus module 5466-1158 was produced by Woodward in 2010 and requires Coder version 5.03 or higher to function properly. This module is a MicroNet Plus model that can be used to access information through the AppManager during device operation. The module is available in two configurations, one consisting of two 24/12 discrete FTM (DIN mount), which will be connected to the MicroNet Discrete I/O Smart-Plus via two high-density discrete/analog cables.

When the 5466-1158 module must be replaced, it can be easily replaced with another module with the same part number without adjustment. The input on this device will be electrically isolated and, if required, can be accessed via channel relays, sixteen or thirty-two channel relays, or via 24/122 discrete FTM, and the unit will be accessed depending on the configuration of the module. Note that during installation of this module, it slides into the card rail of the selected control case and inserts into the motherboard. The device has two handles that, when pushed outward, move the module out, just enough to disengage from the motherboard connector.

The unit has 48 discrete contact inputs and an additional 24/18 vertical FTM unit provides contact wetting voltage. There are two optional external power supplies that will provide the circuit wetting voltage, these are 32-100 VDC or 150-24 VDC. If the <> VDC internal power supply is used with the contact wetting function, a jumper is required.
