The CPU5200SA (Security Applications) module 5466-1141 is considered a relatively new module in the MicroNet family of digital controllers as a MicronET-Plus unit. This module can be used in MicroNet 8 or 14 VME slot cases.
Unit 5466-1141 is a CPU5200SA (Security Applications) module manufactured as part of the MicroNet digital Controller. The device can be used in simplex or redundant or I/O modules, note that if the controller is used in a redundant system, two CPU modules are required to function properly. Both cpus will run the same applications and receive power from the same pins on the VME backplane, and can be used on the same VME bus because they have access to different I/O modules. The locations for the two required cpus will be in the A1 and A8/A14 slots, which are the first and last slots in the respective chassis.
Modules 5466-1141 are labeled as newer status modules according to the table of MicroNet series units listed in the manual 26166V2. The module will be used in the MicroNet Plus chassis and the unit will be configured in the host rack of the MicroNet Plus chassis regardless of whether the system configuration is simplex, fully redundant or partially redundant.
Models 5466-1141 can be used in diesel/gas engine turbines or hydraulic/steam/gas turbine applications.
