Woodward's 5466-1036 units are MicroNet Digital Remote Real-Time Network (RTN) units. This device does not comply with UL or LRS standards. Models 5466-1036 can also be labeled as Remote Transceiver (Remote XCVR) modules.

According to the 26166v2w manual, the 5466-1036 module is a MicroNet Remote Real-Time Network (RTN) transceiver (XCVR). While most units in the MicroNet family of digital controllers should be able to be used with the RTN model, this unit cannot be used with the CPU5200 model because there is no RTN port available on the CPU5200 model.

The Woodward Incs 5466-1036 model is equipped with standard features such as consumable high-density input/output, OEM-grade algorithms, and a variety of different inputs/outputs. This model cannot run GAP applications as well as other models, especially the CPU5200 or CPU5200L models.

The 5466-1036 model is also another example of a non-preferred current state unit, and while the non-preferred unit is generally not the most suitable for newer system applications and installations, it still fully supports repair and backup units.
