The Woodward INC 2301A Load Distribution and Speed Control family is available in a variety of models,Model 9905-034 is one of them, this particular model is a high voltage forward acting model with an actuator current of 0-200, this model is a dual actuator type number. When using the unit 9905-034, if the speed of the power unit is not properly monitored during the operation of the model and the prime mover, then both cannot adequately respond to any load changes, due to this possibility, it can be expected that the prime mover and the control will have stability problems and both will not work properly.
The control can be parallel, mainly for droop mode and synchronous mode, if you wish to choose synchronous operation of load distribution control, please connect the auxiliary contact of the generator parallel circuit breaker from the zero terminal (the use of this terminal is strictly for high voltage models and should not be used when operating low voltage models) to the terminal 14. If you wish to adjust the shunt for any reason, you can adjust the drop and load gain potentiometers by turning both slowly clockwise.
When operating the control with the prime mover, if the prime mover refuses to share the load with the other units, the cause may be that the speed Settings are off or not equal, if they are not equal, remedy the situation by setting the speed Settings of all units to the same, ensuring that they are indistinguishable from each other.
