EM Digital Controller Type 8200-176 uses advanced, model-based control algorithms to cover a variety of actuator load inertia and friction loads. Woodward provides the Driver interface program as a configuration tool.

The 8200-176 EM digital driver, when used in combination with the (DIP) driver interface program software, provides sophisticated firewall algorithms to protect your system from the various actuator load inertia and friction levels that cause mechanical failure. This model is used in combination with other Woodward components, such as Netcon and MicroNet control systems (sold separately on our website).

Through the Woodward site available on disk or. EXE after installing DIP, follow the system's download instructions to install the protocol server. After the installation is complete, you may be instructed to restart your PC for the changes to take effect.
