Models 9907-080 are part of the ProTech 203 overspeed protection unit manufactured by Woodward. This model is an electrified trip in the NEMA 4X housing. The unit uses a voltage range of 18-32 VDC because the nominal power supply is 24 VDC.

Model 9907-080 is Woodward's electric travel model. This model is designed for the ProTech 203 overspeed protection series. The unit has a locked NEMA 4X housing with optional stainless steel wheels. A key switch that controls whether the system is in monitor or program mode prevents unauthorized programming or testing of this ProTech 203 system.

Within the enclosure are three identical speed sensing units that operate independently to monitor the prime mover speed and perform speed calculations. Continuous monitoring is achieved using a magnetic pickup (MPU) that interfaces with each unit. These cells are configured to connect with a two-thirds vote. Monitor the functional status of each of the three units using the corresponding operator interface located on the front of the 9907-080 housing. The previous panel also featured six indicator leds. Each relay in the system has an LED. If one of the relays trips, the corresponding LED will light up.

Peak speed records are updated only when overspeed conditions occur.
