The ProTech 203 Model 9905-881 has a number of features that make it a smart choice for your overspeed protection needs. This power-off trip system has a remote reset function that can be easily reset from a remote location after tripping or before starting the turbine. The 9905-881 also features an LED indicator on the system's three-speed sensing unit, allowing the operator to quickly identify any system or hardware issues, or at least know where to start troubleshooting.

The Model 9905-881 provides accurate output with a two-thirds hardware voting configuration. The system is designed to allow the prime mover to stay online even when only two of the three units are working. This means that if one of the units trips, is being tested, or is being replaced, the operation may continue with an accurate, reliable output.

This ProTech 203 model has three magnetic pickups (MPUs). These MPUs interface with a speed sensing unit. Each 9905-881 unit has its own operating interface, and all units are located in a key-locked housing. NEMA 4X compliance is only possible when optional stainless steel wheels are used.
