Woodward's 8200-207 ProTech 203 consists of three independent speed sensing units that continuously monitor turbine speed and activate tripping relays when overspeed conditions are detected. The 8200-207 model will operate on a 24 VDC power supply.

Woodward's ProTech 203 series for prime mover overspeed protection offers a variety of feature-rich digital systems. One of the models in this series is the Model 8200-207, which contains three speed sensing units that detect the prime mover speed via three separate magnetic pickups (MPUs). After performing three separate speed calculations, the system drives its relay output based on a two-thirds vote of the hardware.

Model 8200-207 is one of the power trip models in the ProTech 203 series. This particular model operates with a 24 VDC power supply.
