Product 8237-1660 is a triple modular turbine safety device that is part of the Woodward Protech-GII family. The device accurately detects unsafe over-acceleration events in turbines of any size and immediately shuts down the entire system. It can be configured to work with turbines powered by steam, gas and water. They can be installed into almost any cabinet and have an IP56 housing type. The model 8237-1660 has a high and low voltage input and each module has a power of 30 W. High input voltages range from 90 to 264 Vac, while low input voltages range from 18 to 32 Vdc. The product can be stored at temperatures from -4 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit and run at temperatures from -4 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit.
