Part 9907-162, with 18-32 VDC power supply, is a microprocessor-based controller from the Woodward 505 series digital governor for steam turbines with single or split range actuators. Woodward is one of the oldest and leading manufacturers of digital control equipment, designing control units for the 505 and 505E models. These devices are built with a microprocessor-based setup to properly operate and simplify steam turbine operations of all sizes.

The unit is specified with the number ID 9907-162. The device is capable of running the turbine by using one or two split actuators to drive the inlet steam valve. The 9907-162 is one of the Woodward 505 modules designed for single extraction and/or access applications operating steam turbines.
