Manufactured in part by Woodward, the 8440-1818 part is from the EasyGen 3000 series and is a generator set controller.

This controller is one of the few in the EasyGen 3000 series that does not have an LCD or a key that can be used to control part of the operation, which means that your controller needs to be configured for external confirmation, which does include any alarms that may occur on the unit. It is important to note that if you need to restore the controller to factory Settings, you must do so remotely.

Model 8440-1818 has the potential to operate in on/off GCB/MCB mode, which means that when operating in this mode, it allows the engine and generator protection and will measure any parameters of the engine or generator, some examples of these parameters are current, coolant temperature, voltage and so on.

Your controller can also be configured for a number of different languages, including but not limited to Italian, Russian, French and German. The 8440-1818 models are also equipped with power and reactive power load sharing capabilities and can be used with up to 32 units, including load dependent stop/start units.
