 The unit belongs to Woodward's line of synchronizer modules for use in three-phase, AC, and industrial generators. The unit is numbered 8440-1667. The 8440-1667 is classified as a unit in the SPM-D10/XN series of Woodward synchronizers. They are the most compatible industrial generators equipped with an automatic voltage regulator, as well as a speed control module. It does not require that these components be materials designed by Woodward, only that they have built similar designs. The 8440-1667 is equipped with a range of features to provide generator operators with automatic frequency matching, phase matching and voltage matching.
