 The unit is classified as model 8440-1666 in the Woodward series of synchronizer modules. The module is one of many industrial generator components available from AX Control's hardware and equipment inventory. Units 8440-1666 are available either as part of our new surplus products or as used, optimized and restored hardware. The 8440-1666 is designated as part of the Woodward SPM-D11 series load sharing synchronizer module. The SPM-D11 series devices include standard capabilities for automatic frequency, phase and voltage level matching. These units are designed to be integrated into industrial generator systems that are three-phase, alternating current systems equipped with Woodward speed control and voltage regulators, but can also be integrated into a system with similarly designed components. The 8440-1666 is physically designed with a protective housing, an Apranorm-type housing, with an IP42 rating on the front of the unit and then an IP24 rating on the back of the housing.
