The EasyGen-2300-5 is a component manufactured by Woodward as part of the EasyGen-2000 series. The series of compact generator set controllers with HMI are designed with compact, affordable control/protection options, synchronization and load sharing for up to 16 generator sets isolated (operating in islands) or operating in parallel with utilities in one unit.

In order to maintain proper rotation reserve while maintaining fuel efficiency, the EasyGen-2300-5 can be used in a variety of engine sizes. It integrates load dependent start/stop programming, allowing the end user the flexibility to start or offline the generator set as the load demands change.

The EasyGen-2300-5 works with multiple interfaces used in industrial environments. This includes but is certainly not limited to; Modbus RTU (PLC/HMI/SCADA.) and Profibus and Ethernet communication using a dedicated gateway

The EasyGen-2300-5 offers features such as asynchronous and synchronous generator support, generator protection and power monitoring, process-related start/stop logic, and Boolean programmability for complex system control via LogicsManager, and supports 11 independent languages and standards.
