The EasyGen-2200-5 is part of Woodward's easYgen-2000 series. The EasyGen-2200-5 is designed for multi-unit operation of generator set (Genset) control. It provides load sharing protection/control for up to 16 generator sets operating in isolation (island) or with a single unit operating in parallel with a utility. The FlexApp(™) feature of this product allows configuration of the number of operating circuit breakers: none, GCB(generator circuit breaker), and dual GCB and MCB(micro circuit breaker). The unit also offers Boolean operators and programmable timers to allow modification of control and relay functions.

The EasyGEN-220-5 consists of a plastic housing with HMI display (LC display with soft keys), analog output and generator CT terminals, power/generator/bus PT terminals, USB/RS-232 service port connectors, relay output terminals, 8 discrete input terminals, CAN bus interface terminals, and MPU inputs.

The EasyGen-2200-5 has a variety of operating modes including automatic, stop, manual and load/no-load test modes. Circuit breaker control includes on-off control, circuit breaker monitoring, phase matching and slip frequency. The unit provides remote control regulation of speed, voltage, frequency, power, power factor setpoints and reactive power through interfaces and analog/discrete inputs to the system. The device supports 11 languages and can be configured via its front panel or PC connection. It has multi-level password protection located on the front panel control.
