The 8440-2096 is one of the controls available in the EasyGen 2000 series.

Using control units with discrete inputs please note that they are electrically isolated, do not allow the polarity of the connection to be positive or negative, and the inputs must absolutely use the same polarity, whether it is a positive or negative signal due to common ground.

When dealing with the analog input of the device, the 0-20 mA input, that is, the internal load, should be read as 50 ω.
