Woodward's second generation Current Pressure Converter (CPC1I) 25 bar, 2-zone, simplex version with enhanced dynamic performance is an electro-hydraulic pressure regulation control valve for positioning single-acting steam turbine valve servers/actuators. CPC-II addresses one of the industry's number one reliability issues, oil contamination affecting equipment uptime and performance.

The CPC-11 accepts pressure demand signals from 4 to 20 mA and precisely controls the oil pressure to precisely position the single-acting steam turbine governing valve. Accurate and stable steam valve control is directly related to the improvement of steam turbine speed and load control and the reduction of mechanical wear of the system.
