CPC-II 10 bar, Zone 2, simplex, Enhanced Dynamic version, HTC (Current Pressure Converter, second generation) is an electro-hydraulic pressure regulator controller designed to position single-acting steam turbine valve servos. With excellent accuracy and resolution, the CPC is ideal for turbine valve control and associated turbine speed and load control.

With enhanced dynamic performance, Woodward's second generation Current Pressure Converters (CPC-II) 10 bar, Zone 2, HTC simplex versions are electro-hydraulic pressure regulating control valves for positioning single-acting turbine valve servos/actuators. CPC-II addresses one of the industry's number one reliability issues with oil contamination that affects equipment uptime and performance.

The CPC-II accepts pressure demand signals from 4 to 20 mA and precisely controls the oil pressure to precisely position the single-acting turbine speed-regulating valve. Accurate and stable steam valve control is directly related to the improvement of turbine speed and load control and the reduction of system mechanical wear.
