Controller models 8440-1934 were produced by Woodward from the easYgen-3000 series, and this particular model was labeled easYgen-3500-1-P1 model. The P1 series model consists of a sheet metal frame with no display panel on the front, so a remote connection is required for normal operation, and the P1 series model also has relay output terminals.
When wiring the controller, you must know where each wire should be connected, and if you are wiring the generator voltage, the wiring will be connected to terminals 29 to 36, alternating between 120 Vac and 480 Vac when connected. You should note that model P2 has more terminals than model P1, so some things are model specific, for example, if relay outputs need to be connected on model P2, they will be connected to terminal 140 via terminal 121.
