The TRICONEX Model 3351 Pulse Input (PI) module provides eight very sensitive high-frequency inputs. It is optimized for use with non-amplified magnetic speed sensors commonly found on rotating equipment such as turbines or compressors. The module senses the voltage conversion from the magnetic sensor input device and accumulates them (rate measurement) in a selected time window. The resulting count is used to generate the frequency, or RPM, that is transferred to the main processor. The measurement accuracy of pulse counting is 1 microsecond.
