The SCHNEIDER 140CPU67160 processor module is part of the Modicon Quantum family and is a high-performance controller. The 140CPU67160 also supports multiple communication interfaces, including Ethernet, Modbus and Modbus Plus, to connect multiple devices and systems. In addition, the 140CPU67160 has an industrial-grade design that allows stable operation over long periods of time in harsh environments.

However, others say that modern 8-bit chips are always more power-efficient than 32-bit chips when running equivalent software routines.
